Marie Lannoo
Saskatoon artist Marie Lannoo studied at York University, University of Saskatchewan and attended Emma Lake artist workshops. She participated in residencies in Virton, Belgium and at the Banff School of Fine Arts. Recipient of many SAB and CC grants, Lannoo has exhibited provincially, nationally and internationally. In 2010, Lannoo opened an artist studio space at 330 Avenue G South and in 2012, 330g, an independent, self-curated project space of local, national and international artists.

Publications include Abstract Painting in Canada by Roald Nasgaard and two acrylic technique books by Rheni Tauchid along with several exhibition catalogues. Lannoo’s work Blue Over Saskatoon, Collection University of Saskatchewan is on the cover of the publication Nanoscale Physics of Quantum Materials by Tapash Chakraborty. She has produced editions of prints with Master Printmakers Stu Oxley and Gordan Novak. Lannoo’s design, N,S,W,E is the current SKArts Award celebrating achievements in all arts disciplines. Winter Blue, a recent acrylic painting is featured on the label of a limited edition wine at Stratus Vineyards in 2021 as part of their Artist Series.
