Jody Greenman-Barber ~ Sensory Space

Sensory Space is an exhibition of 34 ceramic sculptures inspired by the sensation of dance improvisation. These sculptures are not literal representations of dancing figures, but are sculptural abstractions that record and convey the essential feeling of embodied sensations in forms that derive from pottery concepts and methodologies. Each work is constructed to simulate movement of the body in an expressive gestural composition.
