Shotgun Jimmie is a much loved Canadian indie-rock troubadour known for his catchy power pop and endearing charm. His blistering one-man band live show incorporates fuzzed out guitars, a modified drum kit, harmonica, and a magic bag of tricks. Since leaving Shotgun & Jaybird in 2007, Jimmie has released a bevy of 7” singles, EP’s and five full length albums including the Polaris Prize nominated Transistor Sister and his latest Field of Trampolines, a hooky summer love letter to rock and roll and the road, recorded with Canadian indie legend Joel Plaskett (Thrush Hermit).

Cellist Leanne Zacharias performs across genres and geographies: recent work includes an immersive soundscape in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Listening Booth: solo recitals for solo audience member, CityWide: simultaneous recitals by 50 cellists in the International Cello Festival of Canada and Sonus Loci: a sound installation on ice, presented by Winnipeg’s Warming Huts Competition. An intrepid educator, Leanne co-directs the Wild Studio creation workshop exploring Canada’s National Parks, Hybrid Intensive in San Francisco, Wheat City Nuit Blanche and is Associate Professor of Music at Brandon University. Her new solo album will be released in 2019.
